SERVICE REDUCTION COMING TO CC RIDER
On Wednesday, September 7, 2022 the County Board of Commissioners formally approved a service reduction to CC Rider Line 1 – PDX. After a months long process that included ridership analysis, recommendations from the CC Rider Transit Advisory Committee, printed public notices and social media posts, hybrid public forums and two surveys completed by riders – CC Rider has finalized a service reduction.
The service reduction for Line 1 – PDX, of which will take effect on January 3, 2023, is as follows:
- One morning run will depart the St. Helens Transit Center at 6:15 am and depart from Downtown Portland at 7:10 am to return to St. Helens.
- One evening run will depart the St. Helens Transit Center at 4:20 pm and depart from Downtown Portland at 5:15 pm to return to St. Helens.
These times were derived from the results of two surveys completed by riders to best meet community needs.
