The Majestic Theatre is excited to bring a wide range of artistic productions and arts education programs to Corvallis. The Corvallis Parks & Recreation Department preserves and creates a community heritage by providing places and programs designed to enhance the quality of life. Local arts and performance groups provide the talent and creative direction. Auditions at for Majestic Theatre productions, Majestic Reader’s Theatre, and other projects and events happen throughout the year. The Majestic Reader’s Theatre Company offers high quality staged readings on the last Sunday of every month. The Company will offer a production in the “reader’s theatre” style: trained actors, with scripts in hand, make the play come alive through vocal talent, facial expressions, and minimal staging. Reader’s theatre plays are a fun, accessible way to experience contemporary works by famous modern playwrights that might not otherwise be performed here. We offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities from set construction to spotlight operator to ushering. We welcome volunteers of all skills levels and backgrounds to be involved in our theatrical productions and events.
