A walk beside the Willamette River is essential if you want to capture the essence of Corvallis. There is a boat ramp to launch canoes and kayaks for those wanting to glide along the river. You can learn about the history of Corvallis by reading the various signs posted in the park, and rest along the way on the many beautiful bench areas. The Saturday Farmers Market is located right next to the Park from Spring through Fall each year. Many people have fun in the water fountain and there are plenty of places to sit along the way to take in the beauty. There are several variety stores, galleries, cafes, and brew pubs nearby so it is very enjoyable to go with friends or family and have a great time!
