Tillamook, OR — The Tillamook County Transportation District (TCTD) is pleased to announce that its General Manager, Brian Vitulli, has been elected President of the Oregon Transit Association (OTA).
In this leadership role, Vitulli will work with transit leaders from across the state to advance public transportation initiatives, advocate for sustainable funding, and support policies that improve mobility for communities throughout Oregon. The OTA represents transit agencies large and small, providing a unified voice on issues affecting riders, providers, and regional connectivity.
“Brian’s election reflects his strong leadership and commitment to improving transportation access in rural and coastal communities,” said Board Vice-Chair David McCall. “We are proud to see his work and our agency recognized at the state level.”
As General Manager of TCTD, Vitulli has overseen the continued growth and reliability of “The Wave” transit system, expanding access to essential services and strengthening connections within Tillamook County and beyond. His leadership at the state level will help ensure that the needs of rural transit providers remain a priority in statewide decision-making.
“I am honored to serve as President of the Oregon Transit Association,” said Vitulli. “Public transportation plays a vital role in connecting people to opportunity and essential services, and I look forward to working collaboratively to support transit systems and the communities they serve across Oregon.”
