The Corvallis Community Band plays free concerts each Tuesday at 8 p.m. Each week has a theme and many concerts feature soloists or small groups. The music is suitable for young and old alike. Bring a low backed chair or blanket to sit on and dress for the unpredictable weather. Concert series runs June 19th and end August 28th, 2018. June 19: “Local Musicals” (Annie, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, West Side Story), with special guests, the cast from West Side Story, conducted by Jim Martinez, and dancer, Maddie Koegler.
June 26: “From The British Isles,” with guest conductor Lia Poole, and Sax Trax.
July 3: “Patriotic Tributes.”
July 10: “Latin & Jazz,” with guest conductor Mark Rasmussen.
July 17: “Cole Porter.”
