4-16-2025 Interim Executive Director Debbie Boothe-Schmidt has announced that the Sunset Empire Transportation District Board of Commissioners has reached an agreement with David Carr to become the new Executive Director for the District. David is currently the Director of Zero Emissions Bus Programs at Capital Metropolitan Transportation Authority in Austin, Texas.
