Oregon State University is an international public research university located in Corvallis, Oregon. Founded in 1868, Oregon State is the state’s Land Grant university and is one of only two universities in the U.S. to have Sea Grant, Space Grant, and Sun Grant designations as well. With 11 colleges, 15 Agricultural Experiment Stations, 35 county Extension Offices, the Hatfield Marine Science Center in Newport and OSU-Cascades in Bend, Oregon State has a presence in every one of Oregon’s 36 counties. Oregon State University’s outstanding faculty and academic programs consistently attract more high achieving students than any other school in Oregon. Oregon State offers more than 200 undergraduate and 100 graduate degree programs through its 11 colleges, the graduate school and the Honors College, one of only a handful of degree-granting honors programs in the United States. Oregon State’s researchers are top-ranked in their fields, hold leadership positions in international and national professional organizations and have earned prestigious honors. The Everyday Champions Program is designed to enhance the well-being of Beaver student-athletes. It is comprised of clubs and groups, workshops and speakers, events, and industry pipelines, all which give Beaver student-athletes an opportunity to grow holistically, both personally and professionally, while developing the leadership skills to enter into the real world with poise, conviction and a drive to succeed. The Division of University Outreach and Engagement supports Oregon State’s land-grant mission of learning, discovery and service by making its educational programs accessible wherever and whenever people need to learn. The division provides leadership for the outreach and engagement mission and includes the OSU Extension Service, Extended Campus, and Professional and Continuing Education.
